The Kentucky Derby Festival Xtreme Rodeo is dedicated to our fighting forces around the world keeping our nation safe so we can have the privilege of attending shows of this quality. In an effort to honor their dedication and sacrifice we provide a patriotic tribute in the middle of the show. Our tribute starts off with Elvis Presley's American Trilogy with our parade horses carrying all of our military flags proceeded by Old Glory herself. Just when you think you are listening to a recorded track of Elvis himself we bring you live on the arena floor, Mr. Shawn Klush. He is the nation's top Elvis tribute artist, became grand champion at the $25,000.00 "World Elvis Tribute Artist Competition" and named by Elvis Presley Enterprises as The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist. This year he received "The Peoples Choice Award" from Gibson Guitar in Nashville as "Best Concert Elvis". Shawn was recently named the international champion of BBC1's World's Greatest Elvis competition in the United Kingdom. From Las Vegas to Atlantic City we bring you the Closest Thing to the King in Concert. Mr. Klush will be on tour in Canada during the Kentucky Derby Festival Events but has graciously accepted our invitation to fly into Louisville to perform this military tribute.
